In an ongoing fight for unity, Sharpie wanted to reach out to different Atlanta communities and individuals to ask them how it feels to be black in America using only one word. This approach gives us an opportunity to start a real conversation and hopefully blur the lines of the racial divide. Sharpie wants to bring together different cultural communities of their hometown, Atlanta, Georgia. As a brand known for conversations and dialog, we have noticed a growing distance between cultures in America. Our hope is to create unity, one word at a time.
